In 2022, he became an award-winning author for the first book in his YA-Fantasy series, “Clara Wu and the Portal Book,” that placed second in the overall YA-Fantasy category at The BookFest. The remaining books of the “Clara Wu and the World of Azen,” were all published in one year and they were: The Jade Labyrinth, Rescue, Final Battle and Warlock.

He has two other books prior and his first novel, “The Purple Heart,” is a story about love and courage set during the Japanese American experience in WWII. His second book, “The Tamago Stories,” is a collection of 8 riveting contemporary Asian American short stories.
Vincent Yee was a former National President for the National Association of Asian American Professionals (NAAAP). He also co-founded the ERG at his last employer and led it with an amazing team, to be one of the largest ERGs with over 450+ members within a few months. He’s also been known to create artistic culinary dishes for friends. When he is not writing, he may be binging a K-Drama on Netflix. He now lives in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
